Introduction	SUE SARGEANT-- moved the city in 1980. She has 40+ years teaching in VA public schools. Sue has decades of service and leadership on non-profit boards. DANAE PECKLER—has lived in F'burg since 2009. She has 20 years of experience working in the private, public, and academic sectors of historic preservation. She has joined the nonprofit sector as staff preservationist at Historic Fredericksburg Foundation, Inc. RICK PULLEN—grew up in the F'burg area. He has a long career in journalism working as an investigative reporter for The Free-Lance Star and publishing citiLimits magazine covering city issues. He is also a best-selling novelist. MATTHEW KELLY—Has resided in F'burg since 1976. He served on the City Council from 2002-2010 and 2012-2023. Matt represented the city on all regional planning boards. He helped in drafting the city’s Preservation Plan, Archaeology Ordinance, the Regional Housing Plan, and the Rappahannock River easement and management plan.
