| Introduction | According to some, I am the young over-educated, self-centered, difficult, problem employee in the cubicle near yours, who refuses to accept that he/she is supposed to be humble, pay his/her dues, and go with "the program" in order to succeed. The rules were not written for me and certainly don't apply to me. I want you to get out of my face, know your "place," and retire now. But, really I am just the newest kid in the office, who is younger than everyone else, brings plenty of skills and talent to the job, is eager to learn new things, loves to give AND receive respect, and is genuinely nice. But, once you get out of line...whew. Let's just say, I will exhaust all "professional" avenues to get you back in line no matter who you are and what your position is. |
