| Introduction | Previously a deaf educator, I am currently an online teacher and a stay-at-home/homeschool mom to four kiddos. (Three extremely energetic little boys and one watchful and easily entertained little girl.) I am also the very proud wife of a talented and super handsome radio man. Though we currently live in Missouri, my roots are firmly planted in southern soil. Texas will always be near and dear to my heart. It's where my story began and my roots grew deep. Though many chapters written there are teared stained, I can't re-read them now without seeing my Savior's fingerprints. He was with me when I loved and buried my first husband. He held my hand as I walked through life as a single mother and as a young widow. He granted me favor when I won a radio trip to Israel and gave me peace as my second husband entered my life. He is the one that allowed my heart to beat again and who sustains me every day of my life; in the easy and in the hard. It's for His sake and in His strength alone that I'm "dancing in the rain." |
