Favorite movies	Brokeback Mountain, Independence Day, As Good as it Gets, Twister, Lost in Translation, Vanilla Sky, Collateral, Underworld, Underworld: Evolution, Highwaymen, Requiem for a Dream, Gone with the Wind, Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings, Psycho (the real Hitchcock version), From Hell, Girl Interrupted, Downfall, The Island, Nosferatu, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, M, The Murderers Among Us, Little Miss Sunshine, This is Spinal Tap, The Prestige, Flushed Away, Ratatouille, Shrek, Blood Diamond, Children of Men, Zodiac, Running with Scissors, Babel, Fracture, Breach, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, Die Hard 1-4, Everything is Illuminated, Good Night and Good Luck, Last King of Scotland, Knocked Up, Superbad, Tropic Thunder, Super Troopers, Silent Hill, The Dark Knight, Idiocracy, The Signal, The Corporation (awesome documentary) and many, many more...I LOVE old, scary, weird, political, and/or controversial films, and anything funny "for all the wrong reasons"...; -). Actually...I love movies in general...particularly when watched with friends. Especially when we're making fun of really bad films, like Space Mutiny or Tower of the First Born, which was so bad even WE never finished it!; )
Favorite music	Pretty much anything that isn't bubblegum pop, pop punk, pop country, or religious in nature. Anything that makes me cry, tells a great story, reflects how I'm feeling at the moment, or makes me want to dance. Recently I've been listening to a lot of Jimi Hendrix, Lady Gaga, Type O Negative, and Rob Zombie. Yes, I know, weird combination. That's my nature. A little country, mostly '90s and earlier. I love "Bowl of Oranges" by Bright Eyes and pretty much anything from the 1940s-1980s. I particularly love Frank Sinatra, James Taylor, Bob Dylan, etc. Anything from the 80s is pretty much a go...I enjoy the weirdness, especially in the form of hair bands and androgyny. I also love 90s stuff...think Gin Blossoms and Blues Traveler. I also like The Faint, as well as a little Nightwish, which is pretty much awesome. I listen to a little rap/hip hop/r&b here and there. I like some classical and baroque music. I love the Carmen suite and Hungarian Dance No. 5. I like a little Josh Groban. I love old jazz. And the Foo Fighters are great. That's a long spiel for a very simple answer: "Damn near everything."
