Introduction With experience in advertising and business communications, along with some news reporting and political analysis, I’m spreading my wings a little wider. This is my first blog, and I hope to engage in a lively conversation while I learn the ropes and have some fun along the way. I am the proud father of two young men whose adventures inspire my wife and I to take a few risks of our own now that they are on their own. My wife, my beautiful partner in life, hopes my wisdom will adequately substitute for my boys’youthful agility. Over the years, I’ve been a print production expert, trade show booth designer, expert in marketing/advertising processes—and even wrote global brand management standards for Chevron Corporation and its family of brands. I’ve been fortunate to live in the deserts of Arizona, the lights of Paris, the enlightened Boston and its exotic western sister, San Francisco. I was an army brat as a child, drove lumber trucks to pay my way through college, failed as a freelance writer as a young man and went on to the corporate world-- a round peg trying to fit into a square pigeon hole. Let’s share some stories!
