| Introduction | Originally from Minneapolis, I attended college at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. During my junior year I lived in Florence, Italy and had an amazing year traveling and learning about different cultures. After graduating from Gonzaga, I attended Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee and received my law degree in 1989. I practiced law in Madison for just over two years, before moving back to Spokane in 1991. I met my husband, Jim, in Spokane and we married in 1993. I worked in private practice and for the State of Washington until we moved to Idaho in 1999. Raising two small children at the time, I chose to be a stay at home mom, but still longed for something to fulfill my creative side. It was then that I started to pursue my love of writing. I have been a freelance writer for the Spokesman Review newspaper since 2000. I have had the privilege of interviewing some wonderful people and sharing their stories with the readers. I believe everyone has a story to tell. Each person's life journey is unique and we can all learn from one another. |
