About me

Introduction	I grew up in a large family on the east coast and moved to Texas in 1974. I graduated from North Texas State University in Denton with a degree in Education specializing in elementary & special education. I also earned my Masters in Education at North Texas University...Go Mean Green! I am starting my 34th year of teaching. I have taught in Wylie, Lancaster, Katy, Duncanville, and Houston. I feel very fortunate as I embark on my seventh year at Roberts. My teaching experience includes first grade, second grade, third grade, K-5 reading and special education. I married the “boy next door”; my husband, Greg and I were childhood neighbors on Cape Cod. Our two daughters, Cristin and Alison are both Texas Tech graduates, nurses and married with children. Cristin and Chris have a four-year old daughter, Reese and a two-year old son, Corbin. Alison and Nathan have a four-year old son, Hunter and a three-year old daughter, Parker. I absolutely love teaching first grade and am thrilled to be a part of the Roberts family!
