| Introduction | In May 2010, I began letting go my belongings, and in July, packed my car with what I had left, clothing, bike, cat, and such, and headed to Albuquerque to visit my family, hang out with my dad for a while at the Assisted Living residence, and use his house (with his permission) as a base for my travels around the US to see friends and sights I'd missed for decades. Great plan, I was psyched. Then Life stepped in and plans changed. A few days before I was to leave Tucson, my dad decided to go back and live in his house. Hmmmmm......... I lived with him for 11 months, getting his house, yard, and back in order,and, I see now, healed parts of our relationship that needed it. Last part of May, I decided to go where my heart had called me for way too long..............the ocean! Again, packed my car, and drove on out. I am in heaven! Life continues to improve, and to amaze and thrill me. Even the bad days are pretty darn good! |
