Introduction This blog is about change, which is another way of saying it's about life. It's about writing, too, which plays a big part in my life. I worked as a copywriter for twenty years, but writing fiction has always been my passion. My second novel, All the Winters After, will be published by Sourcebooks in February, 2016. My debut novel, The Underside of Joy (2012), was an international bestseller and translated into 18 languages.
