Introduction	When I was child, I never said, "I want to be a (insert a highly admirable, reasonably tangible career)". My choice was always some far fetched, sky's the limit dream, like being an Olympic gymnast or the becoming the equivalent of Miley Cyrus (minus the booty shorts).When it came time for college, I never said,” I’m majoring in (take your pick of impressive majors)". Mine changed every week! Keeping up with my aspirations has always been like chasing the wind, and after twenty-two years of trying to come back down to earth, I have come to terms with the idea that maybe, I can do it all! I'm an aspiring writer, entrepreneur, creator and green living activist. I have learned many lessons throughout my life thus far, but there are so many more to learn! I’m constantly reminded that life is a journey, not just a destination. My journey is filled with big dreams, the hope of a Fairytale and a passion for people that just might make it all workout! My blog, Getting There, is dedicated to the twist and turns life inevitably throws at us, and all the lessons we learn along the way. My hope is that this blog will leave everyone who reads it with a sense of hope, connection and inspiration.

Favorite Music	I have this crazy obsession with pop music. I really do.
Favorite Books	I love books! My Mom always said, "If you can read, you can do anything". I took those words to heart; I read all the time. I generally prefer non-fiction books but I'm not opposed to a good novel every now and then.
