| Introduction | This is the seldom read ego trip of Peter Ryley - recovering academic, former adult educator, and aspiring author. Now retired, when I was a useful member of society I worked in lifelong learning, latterly at the University of Hull, and ended up teaching part-time at Manchester Metropolitan University. I live partly in Manchester and the rest of the time in Pelion, Greece. I write and publish on the history of Anarchism, and have frequent rants about the importance and current parlous state of adult education. |
