| Introduction | My name is Ruqxana and I run cooking classes in my home in Singapore. I was born in Singapore and grew up with among neighbours and friends of different ethnic backgrounds. This diverse background is the reason why I am comfortable cooking Indian, Malay, Chinese, Eurasian, Peranakan food. Growing up, I was fortunate to be able to pop in and out of neighbours homes in a multi cultural neighbourhood of Singapore. It is here where I learnt to cook, by watching not only my mother but also the mothers in the surrounding neighbourhood homes. Hence began my education in cooking from a very young age of five. |
