Introduction Quite deep - the why of life? Am self-driven. Question stuff. Not good at housework - repitition - frustrating. Like risks - love the ecstacy if it works; hate the blackness if it doesn't - hate the monotony of not daring even more. Must act - a drug - no option. Am not money driven. Want more travel/ cultures but money prohibits - laziness more so. Life = now = stacks to do. Dread getting old so my body won't let me do what my insides long for. Not a watcher - a do-er. Like people and their perceptions - a priviledge to walk life with others as we encounter reality together. Struggle - who I am vs. who other people need me to be - especially a mum. I couldn't do lots without Niall. Thank you. I'll be mad as hell if I have a stroke in my 50's - so much yet to do. Sometimes - arrogant, think I know better. Hate: racism, bullying, homophobia, streotyping, judging. Love making something out of nothing - self determining. Sometimes drive too hard. Like my pals lots. Like theatry pals too - like being a MILF. Hate the highlight of the day being the school run. Enjoy questions/challenge/ controversy/directness - often seen in youth. Need to chill more...
Interests Theatre; acting; friends; philosophising; reading; drinking coffee in nice coffee shops with a friend or a book for a long time; psychiatry; playing the violin and piano; games where I can win- enjoy the challenge - cards - netball -table tennis...- don't mind losing if I've played well. When I'm old I will learn to play bridge. Singing in harmony; eating cake; debating; youth club; Pudding Club; eating out; walking; dancing; the company of theatry types who enthuse as obsessively as I do; acting; acting; acting; touring; acting.... Did I mention acting?
Favorite Movies Don't know.... enjoyed Bridget Jones and Four Weddings and Notting Hill and stuff like that. Have just re-watched Erin Brociovich whilst making a Dracula cape - good film. Laughed a lot at the Full Monty. Also love Amelie. Liked Good Will Hunting. Enjoyed School of Rock. Liked Hook and Harry Potter. Don't see many films - would like to see more - don't sit still long enough. Kids take up evenings and then it's too late. Daytime doesn't seem right - should be working!! (driven..) Perhaps after I've had my stroke I could watch more films? Didn't like The Doors. Can't cope with suspence - if you're going to kill them - kill them - don't hide behind a door for hours first!
Favorite Music Now - don't listen to much - very rarely put it on. Own about 4 CDs (but share tons of Nialls). Like Scar stuff -lots of Sam's music I don't know the name of - stuff with a bit of welly. Like Crowded House. Some girl singers I like - whimsical ones - don't know their names - Katie Melloa perhaps. I like Correlli and Teleman violin duet music. I like Bach and Ragtime. I like some musical theatre. Saw Sweet Charity a couple of weeks ago - loved it - lots of brass. I like singing in four part harmony - being in the middle of something wonderful - creating something out of nothing. Enjoy African drumming and dancing - the rhythm goes through your heart. Like Big Band stuff from the 40s - stuff you can swing jive to - moves my feet. Like the Salvation Army brass band at Christmas - my grandad used to play the euphonium.
Favorite Books I like reading. Enjoy loads -much broader now than used to be. Have enjoyed: Atonement (Ian McEwan); Birdsong and Charlotte Grey (Faulks); The Glass Bell Jar (woman who then killed herself - Plath?); Grisham - favourite is "The King of Torts". I like Isabelle Allende; loved the Regeneration Trilogy and Union Street (Pat Barker). Loved The Kite Runner - beautiful.

How could life be so clever if there wasn't a God?
