Introduction I'm a 59 year old African American living my own version of the American Dream. I'm trying something new now. Your presence here was born out of curiosity, but that can't really sustain the interest of an intelligent mind. I love to write; plain and simple. I don't always respond to comments, so don't feel slighted. I may reply but I make no commitment to do so. My life is not filled with angst, relationship failure or a personal crisis. My career dream was birthed in Mrs. Byrd's 4th grade reading class (at William Penn). I read "Danny Dunn and the Homework Machine"; the idea of a computer doing my fourth grade assignments seemed “kinda cool”. I grew up in Chicago, and now live in Smalltown (VA). I’m pleased with my accomplishments. I love jazz, kickass blues, and travel; my paradise is the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. My name comes from a Java method I would write to pattern success; underOvr, a self-evolving software construct that mimics “Type A” personalities. Call me underOvr, aka "The U". You're always welcome here.
