IntroductionI was born in Negeri Sembilan a few months before the Japanese surrender to the Allied forces in South-East Asia.I spent my childhood years in Seremban and was educated from Malay School Rasah right up to King George V School, Seremban. I applied to join the Federation Military College and was accepted in 1961 and spent four years of regimented life until I took the Higher School Certificate examination in 1964. I graduated from University Malaya in 1968 and at first worked with FELDA before joining the MCS in 1969 and after two weeks of starting my service at the Federal House, K.Lumpur, the country was shaken to its foundations by the 13th May racial riots. Having served 3 ministries and four government agencies throughout my career, I retired in the year 2000.I was appointed by The Yang diPertuan Agong to serve as a Member of the Public Service Commission for five years until 2005. Now I can call it a day, after having served King and Country for more than three decades.
