Introduction In 1930, Ho Kwai Sam ( 何桂三 ) migrated to Malaysia from China and resided in Benta, Pahang. He tapped rubber and operated a grocery stall for a living. After witnessing the strenuous efforts of the rubber- tappers in getting a good cupper and bread to go with before work, he started to think of ways he could ensure these rubber- tappers could have a good meal before and after their work. After 50's years of history at Benta, Kuala Lipis, Pahang, Today, K3K Kopitiam (Kwai Sam Kee 桂三记) carries on the family's tradition a step further by setting up first branch in Damansara Perdana, Selangor. Kwai Sam Kee's third generation has churned out numerous delicacies besides serving their villagers with their heirloom of aromatic cultured coffee, tea, ''kaya" and bread.
