Favorite movies	The Wolfman (the original, but the new one is pretty good too), Frankenstein (again, the original b&w Universal pictures film, but the one from the 90's was also very good), Bride of Frankenstein, Bram Stoker's Dracula, A Clockwork Orange, The Breakfast Club, Clerks, Kids, Boogie Nights, Memento, Dumbo (for sentimental value), and most recently The Martian.
Favorite music	Way too much to list..! I listen to a lot of classic rock, a lot of 80's new wave, punk, some alternative, some "world" music, and lots of stuff with good beats that make you want to tap your feet or get up and dance.
Favorite books	My favorite author is John Steinbeck, and I have read almost everything he ever wrote. Other than that, I like Heller's Catch 22 (not its sequel, Closing Time). I love Kerouac, especially On the Road, The Dharma Bums, and Satori in Paris. Some other honorable mentions are A Prayer for Owen Meany and Invisible Man. I love too many books to list, really.
