| Introduction | Expectations could not be higher. Nancy and I have dreamed of taking a trip like this for many years. Although we’ve discussed it from time to time neither of us really thought we’d get a chance to do it until retirement. The journey that Nancy and I have tentatively agreed to will take us 14,000 miles over the course of 3 months to 40+ states. Although we are experienced RVers, we are charting new territory on this trip and in many ways, feel like we’ve set out on the trip of a lifetime. We feel tremendously blessed to be in a position take a trip like this. I’ve taken the bold step – it’s bold for me anyway as I neither facebook or twitter - of setting up a blog for a couple of reasons. It’s a good way to capture and preserve memories and we hope to make many of them on this trip and popular demand - as we’ve shared our plans with friends and family over the past few months many people have asked us to keep them posted as we travel.
