IntroductionThe writer is currently in his late 20s. A humanitarian at heart who has a passion for people (on most days), travelling, justice and human rights, as well as all things Africa! Also one who has champagne taste and aspires to "bring brioche [cake] to the people" (borrowing Jean-Jacques Rousseau's claim of that supposed utterance by Marie Antoinette). He was born and raised in Malaysia but has spent a good deal of his young adulthood living abroad and travelling. After years of academic and career pursuits as well as volunteer adventures in the US, Kenya, Malaysia and Pakistan the writer finally landed himself a job with an international humanitarian NGO and is currently based back in Malaysia. His heart is nonetheless Africa...alas, we shall see where the road ahead leads him.
