| Introduction | I had been a lacto-ovo vegetarian since the late 1970s when I went vegan in 2004. It was becoming increasingly evident to me that veganism represented the moral baseline. Over the past several years my understanding of animal rights has evolved considerably. I now consider myself to be an abolitionist vegan. I believe that directly promoting veganism is the only effective way of reducing and ultimately eliminating animal exploitation. |
