| Introduction | Katie Johnson has been employed in the College Community School District since 2005. She comes to Iowa from the suburbs of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she taught both fifth and second grade for the School District of Waukesha. Mrs. Johnson earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree from Alverno College, an independent liberal arts college in Milwaukee. She is certified to teach children in grades pre-kindergarten through grade six. In 2004, Mrs. Johnson completed her Master of Arts degree in Adaptive Education, a degree that focuses on inclusion, differentiation to meet the needs of a broad range of students, and collaboration between regular education and special education professionals. You will find Mrs. Johnson teaching fifth grade math and science at Prairie Creek Intermediate. |
