| Introduction | Hello, I'm a mother to my 8 year old daughter, and wife to my wonderful husband of 9 years. With the ever rising cost of living, I have set on the path of learning to live a frugal lifestyle, or at least more frugal. This is something that is completely new to me, and I'm certain I will make mistakes as I go along. I'm open to suggestions from anyone reading this too! I have a few goals in this process: #1 Effectively reduce my family grocery bill by using coupons and watching for sales #2 Simplify our lives by decluttering our home and lives as much as is comfortable for us as a family. #3 Learning the art of bartering items we don't need/want for items we do need/want. During this process I will be as honest with myself as possible as I feel that's the only real way to learn from your mistakes. You will know what I know, I will share what I've learned and this blog will give me the opportunity to look back. |
