| Favorite music | Again, so many... Depends greatly upon my mood. Lately I've been getting into the more down to earth music played on LoudCity's Front Porch station. A mix of bluegrass, folk, celtic, gospel, country and western and who knows what else from largely unknown local bands. If talking artists... John Denver (see title) Rascall Flatts Carrie Underwood Taylor Swift Tim McGraw Keith Urban Then there is the celtic music, the bigband (Glen Miller is a Favorite), trips to the past with 70's and Starland Vocal Band (Afternoon Delight an all-time favorite) |
| Favorite books | Well of course, they would be MY Books - Cottage in the Glen A Weeek in September By published authors you say? Again, so many... I really like one I just read, Mrs. Fytton's Country Life by Mavis Cheek. I've read all the Dick Francis, Sue Grafton, Janet Evanovich and Agatha Christie's ever written. The Grapes of Wrath Angela's Ashes Classics such as Gone With the Wind and anything by LM Montgomery And, of course, A Christmas Carol. Perhaps the best book ever written. The Bible notwithstanding, but you can't really say it was written, more like inspired... |
