| Introduction | I am deeply concerned about the direction in which our nation is going, especially spiritually and psychologically. I am profoundly moved by the arrogance and and incompetence of our leaders, and the fact that the voting public will not call them into account. It is a matter of deep concern to me that election campaigns are still based on inciting fear and confusion in the electorate, and encouraging people to vote against their own self interest. This is not only politically unsound, it is morally wrong. This blog will do exactly what Isaiah and Amos did in the eight century: call evil by its name. |
