Introduction	I've been teaching film and media studies at Towson University since 1991. I also have been a video/filmmaker, mostly documentaries and educational programs, and I am the former executive director of the (long gone) Baltimore International Film Festival and the repertory Baltimore Film Forum.
Favorite movies	Well, at the top of my list of things to never do is to list my top films. But, since this is a Salon, and we are about putting our ideas out there for engagement, here's the top of my top: Citizen Kane. I will be blogging more about why my favorite films are so.
