| Introduction | I'm a German born, non-jewish ("gentile") immigrant to Israel. Ph.D. in physics, manager in a HiTech company near Tel Aviv. Married to an Israeli lawyer, three great kids. Living in Israel as a non-Jew by your own free probably means these days that you have to be mad. I'll leave that final judgment to you, but I will try to let you participate in the daily madness of life in Israel from the perspective of a German immigrant, trying to make sense of it all. |

| Favorite books | All those that made me read at least 3/4 before another one took the first place. Currently "The End of Faith" (Sam Harris) is high up there on the list. Best one of all times is Stefan Zweig's "Magellan". Just discovered James Joyce, "Dubliners", "The Mind's Sky" (Thimothy Ferris). |
