Introduction	I am a MPH/MBA student at The Johns Hopkins University interested in a career in hospital administration. I am interested in the role of IT in improving patient outcomes, hospital operations, and in creating business development opportunities. In this blog, I explore technologies used to track patients in health services institutions. I have absolutely no background in this area. I had to choose a topic to write about for my IT class and chose this type of technology because it interests me.
