Introduction	I'm from the Midwest and now live in the South (except for when I'm in India)--I love the weather, people, and sweet tea! I also love to play sports and just get outdoors in general. Most of all I love the Lord, my Savior Jesus Christ. I am a Christian, was born and raised in a Christian home, and baptized at a young age. In my mid-20s, through great trial and nearly losing my life, I grew to know my Lord in a new way. Since then, life has been a grand new adventure with my Savior, and I now find myself working every day to build His Kingdom. After a short career as a chemical engineer, I am joyful to be a part of what God is doing in India through As Our Own. God has my heart and it seems that He prefers to hold it in India! My blogs have turned out to be sort of a history book of my newfound walk with God, since those days of trial and awakening in my mid-20s. I have left the old posts up on my As Iron Sharpens Iron blog for the curious reader, though I now post as part of a 365 day journey "to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord." My prayer is that any posts on this blog might inspire you and help lead you closer to God.
