GenderFemale
IndustryLaw Enforcement or Security

IntroductionI live in Northern VA with my sister who is battling Stage 4 cancer and learning the true meaning of life and love and courage from her as we fight this together. I moved here from SLC UT in 5/09 with all my furkids and now have combined them with hers and am helping taking care of her and her precious little ones. Life is so very precious -- in ALL its' forms and should never be taken for granted!! LIFE IS A BANQUET AND MOST POOR FOOLS ARE STARVING TO DEATH!! Enjoy the feast for every second you're allowed to be in it. My dad was a pilot and I'd love to fly except that generally requires a sense of direction -- and it must have gone to someone else, because I have none at all!! Do they make GPS systems for private planes?? I have a wickedly strange, delightful sense of humor, specializing in "groaners" which fall out of my mouth at any weird play of words that go on inside my head; I wasn't put onto the earth until this time, because I couldn't have lived before there was "spell check" on the computer system.
InterestsCats & cat rescue, Pet owner education, Training large exotic birds - especially Macaws, Frenetic reader & learner, I love watching the skies by night and by day. How can you possibly look out there and deny the existence of a Loving God? The beauty there is just unfathomable any other way. I love the writer Ralph Waldo Emerson, and he said it this way "Nature is too thin a screen; the glory of the omnipresent God bursts through everywhere."
Favorite moviesComedy - What About Bob, Drama - Somewhere in time, Chic Flic - How to loose a guy in 10 days, Can't see more than once every 5 years - Braveheart.
Favorite musicIf you grew up in the 70s and were mainstream I was pretty much there,Also loved the 60s too and the 80s didn't suck too bad either.
Favorite booksMost anything by Jodi Piccoult, The Continuous Atonement by Brad Wilcox, If Live were Easy, it Wouldn't Be so Hard - Sheri Dew, Women, Food and God by Geneen Roth, And of course the Scriptures, including the Book of Mormon and Doctrine and Covenants
