Introduction	I grew up in a home where my mother always made homemade treats, and it was not unusual for me to be saddled up next to her at the kitchen counter, undoubtedly flinging cookie dough across the cabinets. Memories in the kitchen with my mom always involved heartfelt talks and secret family recipes. As I went to college and eventually moved out on my own, I discovered my own love of baking. For me, baking is more than just a hobby. It is a stress relief, an escape, and something I find myself dreaming about at all hours of the day. I am always thinking of a new recipe to try, a reason I can bake, and looking forward to when I can once again find solace in the kitchen. It truly brings me great joy, not only in the creation, but in the giving to others. I've been at this for several years now. As time has passed, baking has truly become a foundational part of my life and how I spend most of my free time. I've also found more and more occasions for which to bake, and in the process have discovered an increasing audience, and humbly, increasing praise. I bake because I love it, and hope I can use it to bring joy to others.
