Introduction	I was raised Catholic prior to becoming a Christian. I struggled with direction, gambling, and drinking. My experience knowing anything about Jesus started when I was invited to a Christian church by a girl I was dating. It was there that I first heard the gospel. How Jesus was the Son of God, lived a perfect life, chose to pay for my sins by dying on a cross and rising from the dead. It was then that I felt compelled to make a profession of faith. My biggest wake-up call was when I found out my wife was committing adultery. This really rattled my faith. It was a long journey of brokenness But it was also a journey that brought genuine transformation, restoration, and hope. I have a new desire and hunger for God’s word and His gospel. My life now revolves on how to please and honor Him. The Lord continues to refine me in areas of my life that I know I could never do on my own.
