Introduction I am a lecturer at a private tertiary education institution. I have realised that being private does NOT mean you attract the cream of the crop. At all. My dream job is to start (or join, I have no strong urge to lead anything) a hippie colony somewhere in the mountains, and live off the profits made from my own small organic cheese and joghurt farm. One of the key advantages of this job would be the absense of students. I generally (usually, at least regularly, or sometimes) like people (well, certain people), and like spending time with them. I also really like my bed. And my miniature garden (or attempt at it). And biltong. And chocolate (Kit Kat, if you feel the need to buy me any).
Favorite Movies O vrek. Many. Most recently, Juno. Random other ones: Fight Club, Last of the Mohicans, Pretty Woman, Love Actually, The Lives of Others, La Vie en Rose, Little Miss Sunshine, Lion King, Ice Age, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pan's Labyrinth, Mr & Mrs Smith, etc. etc.
Favorite Music Hmmm. This changes on a monthly basis. Currently: Tracy Chapman, Neko Case, Jack Johnson, Panic at the Disco, Freshly Ground, Henry Ate. Next month, it will probably be something a bit louder again, like Nickleback and Muse. We'll see.
Favorite Books Most things fantasy. Any Pratchett. Lord of the Rings (corny, I know, but tough). The Power of One. Most Margeret Atwood. All Robert Jordan. Some Ingrid Winterbach. Daleen Matthee (again, corny, but tough).

What would you wear for camouflage if you were hiding in a gingerbread house?

Something not too sweet, otherwise I might get eaten. Spaghetti for hair, Peanut Butter for body paint (unless this house is in the USA - those idiots would eat ANYTHING with peanut butter on. And pumpkins for shoes (who'd eat pumpkin if you can have smarties?)
