| Introduction | My name is Anton Funtek, and I am in the beginning state of building Funtek Cad Works which will be a full service drafting company offering services to clients in the Las Vegas Valley area. I was born and raised in Las Vegas and attended Chaparral and Basic High School. My love for buildings and civil structures has been with me for all of my life. In a recent trip to New York City, I was able to first hand see the beauty and grandeur of New York, and witness the beauty of human ingenuity and necessity. My favorite structure in the world currently is the Water Cube located in Beijing, China, and was featured in the 2008 Olympics. In addition to my love for structures, I like to think I have an inventors mind and find myself constantly looking at ways to make a product or idea a better one. History is also one of my true loves, and I have an insatiable appetite for it, because there is no truer statement than history repeats itself, and I feel that it is very important to know where we came from before looking into the future. When I’m not watching Build it Bigger or Modern Marvels, you can find me at the bowling center either bowling league with my friends or bowling a tournament. |
