| Introduction | Ayako Onzo, Ph.D. My close friends say laughingly, I am like Kali, a black and fierce Hindi goddess. I am sometimes too emotional. I decided to open myself to public criticism to overcome this personal flaw and transform it into something beautiful. I obtained a Ph.D. in neuroscience at Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2007.
