| Introduction | I'm a 40 year old mum of 5 kids aged 15-23, and married to my soul mate. I'm really into history, genealogy, murder mysteries and crafting. I've been knitting on & off since 1990, cross stitching since 2002, making cards & scrapbooks, since 2004, but haven't really tried to sell any until now. I've now got into making 3D pictures, jewellery & keyrings as well and have sold some at local craft fairs. My next new craft to try is making traditional sweets & cupcakes. I'm completely new to blogging, so please be patient and don't laugh too much at my mistakes, as there's bound to be a few! |

| Favorite music | I have a very eclectic taste in music and like most things. Among my favourites are; Whitney Houston, Cher, Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi and other metal/rock bands, Queen, 50's, 60's, 70's and mainly 80's. I listen to a lot of classical and jazz music when I'm working and do like some stuff from the 90's to now, but mainly prefer older music. |
| Favorite books | I love history and have a lot of history reference books, a lot are used in my genealogy. I also really love murder mysteries, so historical murder mysteries are my absolute faves! I particulaly love Agatha Christie, Ellis Peters, Peter Tremayne and Susanna Gregory for historical crime, and Phillipa Gregory & Alison Weir are my fave historical authors. |
