| Introduction | I began my interest in art when I was about 8 years old-taking my first class in pastels. In Junior High and High school I studied oil painting. I graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelors degree in Interior Design and a minor in marketing. I earned quite a few credits in art but chose instead to major in Interior Design. The degree offered the ability to mix my love for art with my love for design. For about 13 years I have worked with local Interior Designers painting murals and applying faux finishes. I have painted fabrics, furniture, and accessories. I have also been commissioned to paint smaller scale works on canvas. I have recently refocused my time and energy to creating artwork in oil on canvas only. My goal is to express myself in a way that shows the beauty of Gods world through the gift He has given me.
