Introduction	Beneath the core of everything that we think we know, lies the Funk. There are two folds to the Funk. In one case, one might be appreciating aesthetics of a situation and say, "oh damn, that's funky!" In another, more common case where displeasing features are uplifted out of a situation, one might say, "oh damn, that's funky!" Two situations. Same response. What is it that makes "funk" "funky" and why does it matter? My goal is to uplift both types of situations. I expect to come across more negatively funky discussions than positively funky. However, as this web-blog continues to grow and develop, my hope is that those things that are more positively funky will accumulate greatly so that this centrifuge of blog-life will spin out a deliriously funky wisp of fresh illuminated air.
