| Introduction | My name is Ala’Eddin Fouad Said Ashkar. I am 20 years old. I live in the village of Seida, north-east of the city of Tulkarm. I’ve lived in Ramallah for two years, studying at Birzeit University, Department of English Literature and Translation as minor. Now, I am studying at the Arab American University, Department of Modern Languages, English program . I am working at Spanish and Indian companies, translating and transcribing audios from Arabic into English. Besides, I am working as a translator at the US Forex Currency Exchange firm, department of Public Relations, translating articles, texts, and establishments from English into Arabic. I’ve chosen this photo due to the fact that it reflects my new identity after having had the bad luck when I was a student at Birzeit University (BZU) two years ago. It shows me the new life I’ve begun since transferring to the Arab American University (AAUJ). After having transferred to AAUJ, I found myself right here. I detected my new strong personality. Besides, I've discovered the self-confidence after having been lost in BZU. I, therefore, have a new life among my new classmates and friends as well as coming back home among my family. |
