| Introduction | D. Tinashé Hofisi is a Postdoctoral Global Hauser Fellow at New York University School of Law. He has a doctorate of law from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master of laws from Loyola University, Chicago. Tinashé's undergraduate law degree is from the University of Zimbabwe and he worked on constitutional litigation with the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights for seven years He is a Mandela Washington Fellow under the Young African Leaders Initiative and an IFES Manatt Fellow. He is also an ILS Law and Society Fellow and sits on the Electoral Committee of the African Network of Constitutional Lawyers (ANCL) as the Secretary General. Tinashé holds certificates in Constitution-building in Africa and Strategic Human Rights Litigation from the Central European University in Hungary. He also has a certificate on the Role of Private Law in Land Investment Deals from UNIDROIT in Rome, Italy. |
