Introduction	HOW ABOUT MAKING COMMENTS WHEN YOU READ THIS BLOG! IT IS THE ONLY WAY THAT I CAN SEE THAT YOU ARE READING THESE. COMMENTS PRO OR CON ARE REALLY DESIREABLE FOR ME. PLEASE COMMENT!!!!!! I am a recovered alcoholic, and very proud that I made it! Although I am "recovered" I shall remain an alcoholic until the day I pass on! There is no possibility of my drinking again for if I do, my life will be over. I am 75 years of age. I quit drinking in 1969 after 16 years of hard drinking. I created this blog to make my experience available. All I have is my story, and how I made it out of the morass of alcohol dependence. I can help you with your problems if you wish to contact me. I have no need to gain fame, or to make money. I just wish to help. There is no better way to beat alcohol than by contacting AA, or your Doctor. I can only guide you there. I edited the "DONWOOD", a monthly newsletter sent out monthly to recovering alcoholics that attended the Donwood for addiction treatment over a twelve year period. See the "DONWOOD" section.
