| Introduction | Scott's novel, Hannah's Choice, was recently published by ireadiwrite Publishing. He has written three novels and several short stories. Recently his work has appeared in a number of small literary magazines, he was a finalist in the William Faulkner Literary Contest, and another story was finalist in the Biennial Greensboro Awards for short fiction. Scott is currently managing partner for Burkhead Brand Consultants. Prior to that he was a founding partner at RBW advertising. He studied theatre at San Diego State University and later attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City, MFA program. Additionally Scott spent four years in anti-submarine warfare work as a Navy enlisted man, worked as a short-order cook, sold alarm systems, and went hungry for two years as an actor. Scott lives in North Carolina with his wife Maggie and solves marketing problems, writes stories, walks on the beach, and fiddles with old cars. |
