Introduction I fell in love with fiber and fabric at a very young age. In fact, being a fiber artist was hereditary. My earliest memories are my mother sewing while I played with fabric scraps on the couch across the room. I learned to knit and crochet from my grandmother. I attended the Fashion Design program at Los Angeles Trade Technical College, worked as a pattern maker in the garment industry Los Angeles, and taught sewing, draping, and pattern making at Otis College of Art and Design. I earned BA in Art (with an emphasis on fiber and textiles) at California State University Northridge.
