| Introduction | Quilter, Adoptive Mom, Open Domestic Adoption, Sibling Group, Dual Diagnoses, Medically Disabled, Science Teacher, Daughter, Sister, Friend. I wear many hats but my role as mom of Special Needs kids is a sombrero big enough for Hagrid. Sissy - 14 Aspie Boy (AB) - 13 Wonder Girl (WG) - 10 Sissy and AB's medical disabilities include: ADHD, RADs, bipolar, psychoses, intermittent explosive disorder, Chromosome 19 duplications, ODD, Asperger's, PDD-NOS, generalized anxiety, chronic acid reflux and constipation, AFO's for toe walking, FG syndrome, history of abuse by neglect, depravity and molestation. We live in the U.S. If I'm not at doctor or therapy appointments or dealing with the many school issues that pop up because of the kids' needs, I'm quilting myself into oblivion. |
