| Introduction | I was raised on epic songs and tales of magic, Russian literature and classical music. Now I write about werewolves and distant galaxies to the sounds of Metallica and Scorpions, but I do enjoy a good Mozart concert or a stirring Verdi opera. Growing up astraddle two cultures apparently meant more than I realized, because I can't seem to stop telling stories about being torn between worlds. But it's romance that brought me to the States, and it's romance that kept me here. It's a story for another day, but you can be sure there's going to be romance and happy endings in the tales I tell. |
