Introduction	After years of art classes in school, after school, art camps, through college, and continuing education programs now, I am finally focusing on one medium. I had drifted from pastels to paints to charcoal and even some pen and ink, but as I got older and seemed to have less and less time for cleaning up the messes I inevitably made (not to mention waiting for things to dry), I began turning to photography - instant art gratification... or so I naively thought. There's nothing easy or simple about taking a great photograph, but I am always striving to find that perfect moment. I prefer the photojournalistic style, capturing candid moments on the go. Additionally, I grew up a Virginia girl, but have made my home in Raleigh, North Carolina. My husband and I are currently searching for "fur babies," so feel free to send any dog recommendations our way!
