| Introduction | I am a Christ-loving, family-building, home-schooling, continually-learning daughter of the King. I have been married 27 years to my Man who, like me, loves to travel and to watch documentaries and to eat at local, unique restaurants. In other ways we are very different, but that just makes things exciting. I have 7 children: 3 boys and 4 girls. Teaching, studying, going to the library, and learning thrill the inner part of me. But laughing, entertaining, decorating, creating, gardening, camping, and chatting long into the night makes the other part of me happy. I tend to think in analogies and so...I started this blog: so I would have some place to "off-load" some the word pictures that pop unbidden into my mind. I hope you enjoy it! |
| Favorite movies | All movies made from Jane Austin and Elizabeth Gaskell books, Sound of Music of course. John Wayne movies. All musical. Clean romantic comedies. Most English period movies because of the dresses and the way they talk! |
| Favorite music | Contemporary Christian: especially Laura Story and Casting Crowns. Hymns. Show Tunes (Les Mis is my favorite) |
| Favorite books | Bible. After that it is too hard to decide and there are too many to choose from! |
