Introduction	I am venturing out of Vancouver for the first time to set-up a life of my own in San Francisco. Why is a Canadian moving to the US of all places first? Well, that's just how it happened. Lets get a couple things straight - I love my hometown. I love the majesty of the mountains whose feet flow into the deep cold ocean, the oldness and serenity of boreal forests with air suffused by sunlight filtered through a canopy of needled branches, and the sharp smell of resin mingled with fresh rain. But there comes a time in every girl's life where she must do something crazy, novel and totally unfamiliar. These are my stories.
