About me

Introduction Qui vivra verra. A French Proverb which translates as 'he who lives shall see', or in simpler terms, 'the future will tell'. Although, I am not a fluent French speaker myself, in fact, far from it, the language, and culture, is always something I've been passionate about. Plus, everything really does sound better in French, I guess! The expression, I believe, is a poignant one, one which really sums life itself up. None of us, no matter how much you invested into that crystal ball of yours, can truly know what the future holds. As a sufferer of a condition called blounts disease, being someone who spent much of their childhood in hospital, I know how easy it is to think that life will never get any easier but I also know how it feels to come out the other end a stronger, more determined person. Tomorrow is always waiting, what it brings is due to fate I suppose, but the way we tackle what fate throws at us is down to our attitudes. So although, we cannot tell what tomorrow holds for us, we can certainly have a dab hand at making sure we make the very most of it.
