| Introduction | Dreaming, Thinking, Observing When I am in an area with a lot of people, I like to step to the side and watch. I enjoy viewing encounters and just observing people interact. I like going for walks to take things in; whether it be in a crowded place or somewhere tranquil. Beaches during the evenings, parks, and city streets are high on my list. And I love picking up all those interesting little things along the way; acorns, beach glass, rusted pieces of metal, syringe needles... Art (all art including literature, poetry, paintings, sculpture, philosophy, design, film, music, photography, architecture, etc), ceramics, clay, Calvin & Hobbes, juggling, sculpting, reading, mastering the art of argument, dr. pepper, egg nog, day dreaming, solitude, the tea ceremony, thinking, keeping it real, complaining about young people, the sound of water as it makes it's way through a stream, catching a really good film, trying not to sleep, wabi sabi, music, NPR, meeting people, gallery hopping, going to a museum, breathing and spending 10+ hours a day in the studio struggling to get something done. |
| Interests | Some help society, provide a service which benefits the world. I do not. Yet. Art (all art including literature, poetry, paintings, sculpture, philosophy, design, film, music, photography, architecture, etc), ceramics, clay, Calvin & Hobbes, stocks (but I'm a noob), juggling, being paranoid, sculpting, reading, mastering the art of argument, dr. pepper, egg nog, day dreaming, solitude, the tea ceremony, thinking, keeping it real, complaining about young people, the sound of water as it makes it's way through a stream, collecting Pez dispensers, catching a really good film, trying not to sleep, wabi sabi, music, NPR, meeting people, gmail, gallery hopping, going to a museum, breathing and spending 10+ hours a day in the studio struggling to get something done. |

Some of The Last Thing I Read Were D H Lawrence's Apocalypse, followed by Oscar Wilde's Picture of Dorian Graye, followed by a rereading of Baurdrillard's Simulations, (I think I am finally starting to grasp it!), followed by Gilgamesh and Donald Kuspit's The End of Art. Currently I Am Reading the last few chapters of James Joyce's Ulysses. Man, I love this book. Stephen Dadelus is the greatest character... ever. And memories of the manual for the MS210_230_250 chainsaw are still fresh in my head. Not the best read. Fairly predictable. Not a page turner and the development is rather slow. |
