Introduction	I am the mother of five, including an adopted son from Ghana, who joined our family in 2009 (when he was 11).... and so began my love for that country and its people. I knew then that my connection with Ghana was not over and also came the ever present feeling that there was more for me to do there than raise this cherished orphaned child of ours. My quest to find out what and how led me to these sweet disabled children in desperate need of help and to the team of dedicated and hard working women who made this all happen. Acacia Shade is where this took me and where it goes from here, is another story I have yet to write.... stay tuned.
